The Education System in the UK

Study Options in the UK

Course lengths in the UK are similar to those in India. Full-time undergraduate programmes last three years, whereas postgraduate programmes last one year. The academic calendar varies per institution. However, the bulk of schools begin the academic year in September. Most universities adhere to the term system. But some of them use the semester system. The first semester lasts from September to December, while the second semester runs from January to June.
